Mr. Uzelac is a graduate of Tolleston High School in Gary, Indiana. He has Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and World History from Western Michigan University and a Masters Degree in Physical Education from Bowling Green University. He brings a wealth of coaching knowledge at both the high school and collegiate levels. Mr. Uzelac's most recent coaching position was Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach at Georgetown University. Prior to this position, he was Head Coach at St. John's College High School in the Washington D.C. area. He has also served as Offensive Coordinator at the University of Kentucky, University of Colorado, and Ohio State University. His head coaching experience at the collegiate level includes Western Michigan University and the U.S. Naval Academy. Prior to becoming a collegiate head coach, Mr. Uzelac spent time as Offensive Line Coach at the University of Michigan under Bo Schembechler. At this point in Mr. Uzelac's career, the opportunity to return to the state of Michigan and coach at the high school level was attractive both him and his wife, Wendy. It gives them the opportunity to be close to their children and family, and to be a part of a community that they very much enjoy.
